Whats a PBGV?

PBGV is short for Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen

I would love to have the mixed breed that my grandaughter and I had a couple of years ago.  The best dog ever!!!!  Mother was full English Bulldog and father was a retriever/chow mix.  What a dog.  Gorgeous, smart, easy to maintain. 
 
But for a full breed I would love a dobe or a dachsand. 

Even though I'm nuts for Siberians, I could also see owning a Great Dane, and not just because I like big dogs. They have a stately elegance.
 

I'd really like to have a German Pinscher, and maybe a Bull Terrier.

~Flat-coated retriever (working on this within the next year or two).  I really want an active friendly dog to fit in with me and my SO temperments and lifestyles. 

~Newfoundland (oh yes I will own...rather be owned by one at some point), I fell in LOVE with this breed when I was grooming.  Absolute huge teddy bears.

~Shih tzu, I miss being around my Mom's shih tzu, Nikki.  Absolutely great dogs.  Full of spunk, energy and cuddles....plus a personality to make you laugh.  Nikki is a doll, stubborn, intelligent and loves nothing more than to have her back scratched and belly rubbed...oh yes and to play with her 8339301 toys.  She's also the first one to comfort you when your upset or sick....she spent two weeks with me on the couch when I was very ill with the flu, she only grudgingly left when she needed to go out. 

But for now, just working on finding a home with some land and then I can track down a flattie breeder (or alternatively we are considering adopting a flattie mix). 

DH has this stupid rule about dogs not outweighing him[8|] but I would really love a mastiff or Newfoundland.
 
I also would someday love to own a Rhodesian Ridgeback (we did come very close to getting one), a flat coat retriever, and a papillon.
 
In all likelyhood the next dog I get will be another lab though.

More German Shepherds, more Huskies, and I like the look of a Samoyed.

I like Joey's idea. I have a huge soft spot for toy poodles. We woulda had one of those instead of Small Dog, but DH has a ban on toy poodles. [&:]

great dane, bullmastiff, malinois, presa, dogo argentino, american bulldog, apbt, am staff, black and tan coonhound, cardigan welsh corgi, border collie, gordon setter, greater swiss, bernese...there are so many i love!

Basenji, Am Staff, Saluki, Whippet, Belgian (one of each variety), Qimmiq (Canadian Inuit/Eskimo Dog), Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, Golden Retriever, Kuvasz, and one of each of the rest of them. []

Wow there are lots of breeds I would love to own, but I know for sure one day I will own a bedlington terrier.They just seem like the perfect dog for me lazy in the house like most sighthounds, but still have some terrier attitude! Also they shed very little like a poodle and also they're beautiful outline like a sighthound!(it's the dog in my avavtar)Other breeds I would want but probably wouldn't fit me arealuki(IMO the most beautiful breed of dog ever!)a ibizan, a pharaoh, a irish terrier,a borzoi, an azawakh(second to the most beautiful dog but they are quite rare) last but not least a porcelaine which is a beautiful french scenthound but is extrmeely rare I could barely find anyhting about them on the internet. oh yeah i also think my first own dog will be a rescue, I also am in love with our current australian shepherd sophie girl aka dobie grrrl[]

Sometime in the near future i'm definatly getting a border collie (in the next 2 years)
I then want to get either a australian shepherd or a cattle dog.  I want dogs for dog sports like agility and flyball.
I would also love a greyhound, whippet, german shepherd, or some sort of giant breed like bullmastiff or wolfhound.  I pretty much love all dogs.  I would also love a tiny little toy breed like a chihuahua or a yorkie.

I love huskies and malamutes.  I will definitely own one or the other again when I have my own home.
I would also love a Great Pyrenees.
