Most places I go with Marlowe either no one has ever heard of a coonhound or they can't believe I have one as a pet and think I'm nuts. They're easy to get along with, eager to please, very smart and trainable, active enough to do things with me, and are fairly easy to exercise if they like to fetch. I'm absolutely fascinated by Aussies and Border Collies too. I just love watching them work. I also like Samoyeds and Shibas.
