Thank you. Heineken was black & white when we got him (he was 7 then). Evey time he shed, the balck would come in lighter, and cover more of his body. By the time he passed away at 17, he was more a wolf grey then black.
She is DEFINITELY a Houdini dog but I wasn't surprised because all my Shepherds have been extremely intelligent (she's just the most, I think). Is that a husky quality, as well?
Well, the pure bred Husky I had before Heineken was quite the Houdini. Heineken wasn't an escape artist, but, then again, he was a pretty mellow guy.
Thanks for the input! She's smaller though- between 40-50lbs. The bigger one is about 78lbs.
Well, she's right at the high end for a female pure bred Siberian (35-50 pounds). Heineken was 22 inches tall and weighed between 50-55 pounds. Here's the AKC's breed standard for Siberians: [link
