    Keep Scout in your prayers....

Scout has lost quite a bit of weight in the past month. We chalked it up to more exercise. He's been running with me and going for lots of walks with DH(since his contract ended and he hasn't found another job). But he keeps losing weight and we can see more of his ribs than is normal and his hipbones are starting to poke out :( He was acting really energetic up until the past few days. So we're bringing him in. Please pray its nothing major!!!

We're back form the vets and waiting for blood test results. He's lost 15 lbs since this past July. The vet said he's most concerned that it could be lepto. Please keep praying! The vet is going to call tonight with results. Seems this year is full of health woes and waiting for results. I'm ready for 2010....

Please let us know what the blood tests show. I don't know too much about Lepto. Is is treatable? I'll keep praying for my buddy Scout. I hope you get answers soon. The waiting is excruciating.

    • Gold Top Dog

It is treatable wiht antibiotics, but it can cause liver or kidney damage. So I don't know.

    • Gold Top Dog

**good, healthy vibes**.  Emily, I so hope it's NOT Lepto.
