• Axel aDorkable Posted : 5/16/2009 9:53:40 PM My aunt and her boyfriend's pit bull got hit by a truck(a semi) in race traffic the other day. And while they now have a bumper trophy, they also have an injured Axel. He has a concussion and a fractured jaw, and was on prednisone or some medicine to keep the swelling down. Now that he's come off of it, he can't move his backlegs. He's back at the vet's now. Please send prayers, good vibes, etc. My aunt just lost her JRT to a dog attack at Christmas, and Dave lost his last pit bull dog to a car. • aDorkable Posted : 5/17/2009 7:58:21 AM There's only one vet listed that's a reasonable distance from where they live, but he doesn't have the little symbol indicating that he's CVA. The others are over an hour away, and I doubt they can afford that with two children (not theirs, but they're the main caregivers) and the three dogs.
