Jezzy is my girl that is very allergic to bee stings. Has had every reaction under the sun to her vaccinations, and when we had to administer Ace for an ear check - lets just say - it didn't go very well. She's needed a dental for awhile, but I just had a gut feeling about our old vet back home to not let him do it. I've learned to listen to those gut feelings.
When we met with our new vet and he heard everything about Jezzy, he said that they had a cage that allowed them to gas them down without having to sedate them first. I feel good about him, but I'm still scared spitless. I've tried brushing her teeth and doing the Petzlife tooth gel, but nothing is putting a dent on that tartar. Hopefully, after tomorrow her little mouth won't be so red and she'll feel better. I was going to take her to a specialist in August, but life exploded with the job/move and then the hurricane, and to be truthful, I've been scared to schedule it.
I really appreciate everyone's prayers! I don't post much, but I lurk and read the boards. I really appreciate this community more than you'll know!
