Please Pray for Bubblegum

I'm so very sorry Dyan. I feel like I knew Bubby personally and have known you thru her for the longest time on this forum. I know how heartbroken you must be and totally exhausted from the worry and trying to help her thru this. You guys did everything humanly possible to try to get her better and I know it took all the love in your heart to let her go. She is free from pain now and when your heart heals, you will smile over your wonderful memories of her. Until then..hugs to you and your husband.

Deeply, deeply sorry to hear that despite such effort and such wonderful care and love, she just did not have the strength to overcome this.  I know too well how anguishing it is to have watched and tried to stem the tide of such a rapid decline - we are facing the same thing right now, albeit on a much smaller scale, with our Iggy cat which I why I missed that things had taken a turn for the worse.

My thoughts are with you and DH - Bubblegum was loved and treasured and if her body had been up to it, she would have stayed with you.  Wishing you comfort and peace for beautiful, elegant Bubblegum.

I don't know how I missed this whole thread. I'm so,so sorry for your loss. It's so hard losing your beloved companion when it hits so fast and hard. We lost our Charlie that way. One day he's fine, one week later he's gone--everything shut down.  I will pray for you and your husband and know that beautiful Bubby is at peace. God Bless You!
