Prayers for the love of my life

Another update!  They are going to let him come home today!!!  He still isn't himself, and I worry about him being alone, but I am working on a solution for that.  Doc thinks he will regain a bit more function.  We'll see.  Thank you for all your prayers and good vibes.  I believe.  Going to feed the dogs then go get him.

Wow, that's great news that he's being released. I know it doesn't mean he's well and fine, but I do think that sometimes being in the comfort of our own home, can make a world of difference. I hope that's the case for your boyfriend.

Way cool. In another post, you asked if people could keep up the good vibes if we're not too tapped out. Ain't no such thing as tapped out. Anything and everything you need, just ask.

And thinking lots of good vibes that include a few infection butt-kicking vibes, as well, kind of mixed in with some Earl Grey Tea.

I am glad to hear that he is going to go home.  Lots of times, just being at home makes a huge difference.  He'll also have all of the dogs to love on him.  Both of you are still in my prayers.

Got him!  He's happy to be home, and so are the furkids.  I thought Sequoyah's butt would wiggle right off, and the hound must have stood there sniffing him for twenty minutes (*hey, dad, you smell like you went to the vet*).  Sioux was happy, but I think she was less stressed this time because she had actually gone to visit and knew where he was.

Anne, I'm sooooooo happy for ALL of you.  Good vibes still flowing from me to you.

Count us in on the happy dance. Shadow sends a big, slobbery lick.

Well, after the first 24 hours, I can see his memory isn't great, but at least he can talk to me!!!!  Better than the gibberish he was doing while he was in the hospital.  And, he is officially a non-smoker - hope that lasts!  He's been good about sticking to his diet today, and doing what the docs ordered.  He's so frail and ill compared to the handsome Chippendale guy I met 15 years ago, but he's still my Mike inside.  I'm glad to have him back here with me.  You guys, and all my friends here, were great support.  My best friend surprised me today, knowing I'd be out shopping and picking up prescriptions, etc.  She and another friend of hers came by and did all my barn & outside chores for me, even the ones that had piled up a bit.  I'm very blessed to have such good people around me.

    Big Smile
