Please Pray for Charlie

Charlie is a 3 year old siberian cross owned by a good friend of mine. She is known to have bad hips. This morning she is unable to stand or walk and is in a great deal of pain.

My friend is taking her to the vet this morning and has requested prayers. She is terrified that she is going to have to put Charlie to sleep.

She has a very young family and they cannot afford expensive hip surgery and have been told in the past that the chances of success even should they choose surgery are very slim.

Thanks and I will update once I hear how Charlie is doing.

There really is a lot you can do for painful conditions like this and arthritis -- if you will have your friend email me I have a whole article on arthritis and pain management that may help. Prayers and good thots FOR SURE.

We're sending good thoughts and prayers for Charlie. Hopefully this is just a temporary flare-up. Stay strong, sweetie!

Charlie has a dislocated hip caused by her hip dysplacia. She is undergoing emergency surgery as I am typing. They are grinding off the top ball of the femur on the leg that dislocated. Thanks for they prayers and please keep em going. Charlie is 95lbs so it will be a difficult time for her to build up the scar tissue and muscle she will need to support herself after the surgery.

I heard this morning that the surgery went well and that Charlie is already getting up and using the leg. The vet is so happy about how well she is doing he is releasing her in the morning instead of Monday.!!!!

I am so glad to hear about Charlie, I know what they are going through, as I'm going through a bad time with my little sweetie too. Prayers for Charlie!

I'm way late to looking at the Spiritual Circle but I just wanted to add that I'll be thinking of Charlie while he recovers from surgery. I hope that he continues to improve with every day!
