Hi, My pug, samantha is hospitalized with her 2nd bout of ITP and its complicated by another autoimmune disease called IMHA. in short her own immune system is attacking both her red blood cells and platlets. She has a 50/50 chance of survial. She survived ITP nearly 2 years ago. We love her and are devasted in the thought of losing her. If tears were miracles she'd be home well and sitting on our lap.
