Please pray for Gingerbread!

For the past week Gingerbread hasn't had much of an appetite and has seemed depressed. I took him to the vet two days ago and found that he has a grade 2 heart murmur. Today his bloodwork results came back and his platelets are low. Tomorrow morning he goes in for more tests and it's very likely that he has an autoimmune disease. Gingerbread is only two years old and I'm extremely worried about him; this would be a major condition to manage with a lot of potential for things to go seriously wrong. He is my life and I do not know what I would do without him. PLEASE keep him in your prayers and/or send healing thoughts his way.

I am sorry to hear that Gingerbread is not well. We will say a prayer for him and for you.

Tamara,

I am sorry to see this. Gingerbread has all my best thoughts going to him. Lots of things can be managed and he will receive such good care with you that he will thrive back. Take care of yourself too and keep us informed of what's happening.

Tamara -- I'm glad you posted - when Billy was so sick last year this board was my lifeline!! It helped SO much to have folks praying for him and pulling for him and pumping ME up!!!

I will surely be praying for him and you and your husband.

Thank you! I'm waiting to hear back about the test results and then go from there... It's going to be a long wait until then. :( I'll keep everyone updated. Thank you again for thinking about us!
