• willowchow Posted : 6/8/2006 9:52:33 AM Well, back from the vet.  She gained 4.6 lbs this month!  So, that's very encouraging.    They did the annual check-up and everything looked good.  They drew blood for HW/Lyme disease and will re-check the white blood cell count.  She's gonna call me in a day or so with the white blood count.  I pretty sure the others will be fine.  Got some fatty acids for the skin and huge coat.  She said Willow looks better than she's ever seen her.   Oh, was treated with NO muzzle!    So, thanks again and I'll update once I know if the wbc count is OK.  That's the thing we are really waiting to find out.    THANK YOU!!! 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available. • willowchow Posted : 6/9/2006 6:00:36 PM YAY!  Heard from the vet today, the white blood cell count is better, not perfect but better.  She thinks at this point that it is stable though, we've tested 3 times in a couple of months and it hasn't dropped really, really low.  So, we are going to retest in SIX months and as long as there are no problems she doesn't need to be seen until then.  I'm SO relieved!  Thank you all for all the thoughts and prayers and for posting on this thread.  I'm positive it has helped.  [] 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available.
