    More Good News

Update - I got the results of the BRCA1 and 2 testing yesterday and they were negative, which means there's no gene mutation.  Woohoo, what a relief.  I've pretty much assumed I would be positive with my mom and sister's cancer history, so it was a very pleasant surprise.  My best friend also had some testing for bladder cancer, and it came back negative last week, so I'm feeling very grateful these days.  I'm flying to Florida to spend a week with her on Thursday night and we're going to celebrate like crazy [sm=dance.gif]

Excellent news!  What a wonderful way to celebrate the relief you're both feeling with a week of fun together.  Enjoy yourselves!![sm=wavetowel.gif](All these new smileys are fun, but overwhelming.  I think this one is someone waving goodbye, like "Bon Voyage," right?  I hope so!  Thought it was appropriate for your Florida trip!)
Edited:  Now that I'm looking at it again, is it a lasso?  Whatever he's doing, I hope you have a terrific vacation!

Thanks for the laugh Tracy.  I have the same problem with some of the smileys and have probably used a few that had very different meanings than I thought.  The one you chose looked perfect to me though, so thank you!!  [:D]

Tracy, I thought it was waving a white flag - like surrender [sm=asking03.gif]

Kelly, at first, I thought it was a white flag, too, but then I thought:  "Would someone be grinning that broadly if they were surrendering?"  I guess it depends on whom you were surrendering to!  On the other hand, a Bon Voyage wave might not look so giddy, either.  It might require a more bittersweet face, if you were sad to see someone leaving.  We need a Smiley Dictionary or Glossary!!

Funny!  I think he's waving a towel or hankie over his head like at a sporting event.  I'm not sure if the MN Twins started this, but on the 87 journey to the WS and then in '91, the local newspaper gave away "Homer Hankies" for you to wave in the stands as a sort of rally cry - ever since then I've seen several variations on that with other teams - they aren't always white, but the Homer Hankies were!

    YEAH!!!!!!
And I thought the smiley was waving a halo, like "I've taken off my halo and I'm being naughty, woo hoo!"[sm=wavetowel.gif]
DH just looked over my shoulder and said "It looks like a Tom Jones concert, waving underwear!"
Maybe we need a glossary for these things!
