    Thank God.

My ex-husband has been in Baghdad for the past year. I just got word that he's now in Kuwait and will be in Washington state this weekend. His unit is returning with everyone they left with except for the guy who fell out of a truck and shattered his ankle two weeks after they got to Iraq. This is excellent as their mission was strictly training Iraqi police which made them a particular target.

[sm=clapping%20hands%20smiley.gif]Oh my gosh Kelly, you must be so thrilled and relieved.  I can only imagine how exciting this must be.  Please give him a hug from me and and all the rest of us who are truly grateful for the work they've done and the difficulties they've dealt with.  I guess you won't be spending much time on the forum for awhile though, so that's kind of a bummer [;)]

That's great news[:)]  I know one of the girls I work with was so relieved when her fiance finally got back to the states.  Please tell him thank you, thank you, thank you from us too!

[sm=blush.gif] - oops, missed that small detail.  Geesh, part of my job is proofing documents - ugh!  I'm still grateful for the sacrifices they made [:)]

Hey good news huh. Even if hes a ex-husband every person coming back alive is a very good thing. My ex-husband volunteered to go over and help and rebuild the country. In his case it was for the $$$$$$. He was turned down even Iraq doesn`t want him.

Wonderful news, Kelly.  I'm relieved for you, your family and everyone whose life he is a part of.
