Up date on the 15 year old

I talked to Collins mom this morning. Collin is in surgery as I type this but is doing much much better. Had two rods put in his leg(it was broke in two places). May put a plate in the leg today during surgery. He broke his pelvis in two places (the reason for the surgery today)and is getting that put back together. He also bruised his lungs and lacerated his liver. Those are to heal on there own. Had a small brain bleed but thats gone now. On the first post I said both arms were broken ment to say one arm broke in two places. The school here is sending a laptop to Collin to use while in MN. Hopefully soon he can be transferred to a hospital closer to home. People around here are really great. Building a ramp so Collin can get into his house when he gets home as he will be in a wheelchair for some time I was told. The people where Collins mom works donated their sick leave and vacation time to her so she can be with Collin in MN and still get paid. She is a single parent. Web page so all his friends back here can keep in touch with him and mom. And last but not least taking care of their two dogs.

I want to thank everyone here on the forum for your thoughts and prayers. You guys are the greatest.
