Duke is doing much better today!
From what I heard over the phone last night was not as bad as what I saw when I went to visit. Of course my grandparents were going to exaggerate his condition being that he was coved in blood after it happen which made them think the worse. The blood is all cleaned up and he didn't have any large open wounds and the ones he had were only minor. He does seemed a bit bruised and doesn't like to be touched around his neck but nothing to be too worried about. He just started to get up and walk around this afternoon but is still very slow, he's on some good pain meds. He weighs 145lbs so he is a big boy and it takes a lot to get moving. Looks like everything will be alright.[
] Thanks for your good thoughts! I'm sure he will still need them to get over this emotional stress as well.
Here are some pics, look how good he looks today!
You can see his neck is a bit swollen. He has a wound on his inner thigh but other than that nothing noticeable on the outside. Guess his thick hide protected him.
