Summer (Callie for Carrie)

Summer is one of the IMHA dogs -- she's battled IMHA for over a year and she's actually relapsed a few times. Her Mom, Carrie, has tried SO hard. They've identified a couple of triggers but at this point it's really hard to get her stable.

I can't begin to tell you how hard this lady has tried for this dog. She's getting really discouraged because at this point it's so hard to keep her stable. I know she'd really appreciate your support.

Thank you all for the prayers. Just had a long email conversation with the leading expert in IMHA (Dr Dodds of Hemopet). She has worked out a treatment plan for us. Just started it 10 min ago!
Summer seems very tired today (expected with the lack of oxygen that comes with low hemocrit levels), but she is not in any pain right now. Summer was diagnosed with this terrible disease December 2010. It has been a rough road.
Very blessed to have found wonderful people here!!

If you would kindly add some prayers for Hemopet as they are facing some ugliness from the government in California.

Absolutely; I consulted Dr. Dodds before about Jessie's thyroid tests and she's great to work with. I hope this is settled soon and doesn't affect Hemopet.
