Need prayers and positive thoughts

 They tried to take her off the vent today but she isnt ready to breathe on her own yet. her kidneys are functioning better, she still has a fever. They are going to try to remove the vent again tomorrow. The drs are very optimistic at this point.

Thank all of you so much for all your prayers and thoughts, I just know she can feel them.

Not sure why but she's been heavily on my heart -- so glad to hear this

 They are going to start having the vent do less work, they are going to have it doing like 8% of her breathing for two hours to try to help her get stronger. her urine is back to almost normal color and her output is almost normal as well.

 That is so great!!!! I'll keep her in my thoughts and prayers.

 As of a few hours ago she was off the vent!!! It was an amazing birthday present for her mother.

That absolutely rocks!!!  Best news of the day!!

 I feel like I might lose it today. I am so happy Jen is improving but just got a phone call that my mother in law is in ICU she had a heart attack and had an artery blocked 100% and had to have a stint put in.

 Jen is doing well since coming off the vent, she is weak but is improving. My husband said it was great to actually see her awake( I couldnt see her because I have a cold).They think she may still have kidney stones and are waiting for her to get a little better before doing anything. I havent got any updates on my mother in law since very early am they were moving her from ICU to the cardiac unit

What an emotional roller coaster you've been on! So glad to hear Jen is doing better.  Sending good vibes for your MIL.

 Jen just posted on Facebook! She said she has another week in ICU, the drs are still trying to figure out what caused everything. She is still weak but as she says baby steps...

My mother in law is still in the cardiac unit they were going to let her go home yesterday but they were concerned with some symptoms she was having. So fingers crossed she will get to go home today. We found out she was having chest pain for two days before she went in because it was intermittent and she thought it was just indigestion.  

 Wow I missed all of this!

Very glad that Jen is doing better - I have actually experienced a very similar incident which was caused by my kidney being blocked by a stone. Please remind her that even after being released she will be beyond weak and will have to be patient in recovery. Its a long road back but she's young and will recover.
