Need prayers and positive thoughts

Steady as she goes - it's so good she's in good care and they're able to pinpoint the best meds and care protocols.  Sending best wishes for successful and thorough treatment an recovery.

 New update: she is the same... they took her off the meds that had her under and she was able to open her  eyes and move her hands. they had to put her back under because she was becoming extremely aggitated. White blood cell count is really high.. not out of the woods yet. Her brother should be home from cuba on saturday. I am hoping hearing his voice will help her they are very close.

Well, it's encouraging that she's not getting worse.  I'll continue to send more good vibes her way. 

When she's "under," do they know if she can still hear?  Maybe if her brother was on the telephone, they could put the phone to her ear (or on speaker phone) so she could hear his voice before this weekend? 

 Ok vitals are the same but they havent gotten worse (dr said that its good they arent getting worse). They are doing an ultrasound tomorrow to check gallbladder and spleen. She is still out and intubated.

I'm going to put the Candles Page link again -- remember -- you can use it simply as a focal point if you want, or ... for prayer.  Whatever works for you.  But it IS powerful when all of us make the effort.

her  blood pressure is up to 101/70 they put in a stent to help drain her kidneys wont know if that helps for 24 hours. if it does they are hoping the infection will clear up quickly. the lasiks are helping some and the swelling in her hands and face has gone down.

That all sounds like pretty good news -- those blood pressure numbers are good, and a reduction of swelling has to be a positive sign.  One hour and one day at a time --- small marks of progress are encouraging.  Continued good thoughts for her!
