Marquis will be leaving soon - The journey is over

Sending our thoughts and prayers for a gentle and peaceful passing for Marquis and hugs for the family as they go through this transition. I just bet there's a TV at the Bridge so he can continue to watch his shows with his humans.

Marquis died at home yesterday (12/17/2011) afternoon.

He came in to get his meds and his snack; asked to be let out as usual and was found a little while later. He was buried today on the property.

Oh, sweet Marquis...you'll find so many friends at the Bridge. Hugs and comforting thoughts for your humans.

Marquis is not the first dog of theirs that I knew and who died since I've known them and their dogs for about 20 years but his leaving affects me more than the other ones. I know why but this is something for me to work on, at my pace.
