Looks like we may have dodged a bullet. No signs of pain so far; that's how it effects her. She doesn't vomit or have diarrhea, but she has severe abdominal pain. She's acting fine. DH thought she may tolerate this because her enzymes have improved a lot since she's been on a low fat diet; maybe he's right. I'll update this again if there's any changes.

Thanks again for your thoughts and prayers; you guys are the best!!!

Wow totally missed this one!! Jessie you are old enough to know you shouldn't eat someone's bacon! LOL

Geez Janice, I missed this one too...sorry!  On the other hand its so good to hear the story when it has a great ending, isn't it!   Besides worry about OUR  Idoggies, I have a special interest in the pancreatitis dog because of my friend Donna who owns Freeway who was very very sick with pancratitis almost a couple of years ago. Every once in a while Freeway gets sick and starts vomiting... just did it a few days ago....and Donna is always scared to death.  She has an adult son there that God only knows what he slips Freeway once in a while.

I also know that feeling of walking your dog and him getting something and eating it before you could stop him.......its a "Gibby kind of thing!"
