• Hurricane Thoughts and Prayers spiritdogs Posted : 8/25/2011 3:01:22 PM It goes without saying that we'll be thinking of all our idog family who might be in the path of Irene - hoping everyone stays safe.  But, could you all say a prayer for all the dogs in shelters, too?  Some of them may be in dire straits if their shelter is in the path and there isn't a way to get them to a safe haven. I know that some rescues aren't going to be able to pull or transport for a day or two or more.  Bless all the workers, rescuers, foster homes, and transporters who are probably working their butts off right now to make sure as many as possible get through the storm and find forever homes.
