He was admitted to CCU about 1 1/2 weeks ago, after my aunt found him collapsed on the floor. They thought he was doing better... but reality is, he's not. The nurse said she'd be surprised if he makes it past 24 hours now.... He could go on for months, she said, but it's unlikely. He's too sick. He needs surgery, but it too weak to undergo (he has aortic stenosis, among other problems). He wont leave his feeding tube in, my aunt had to finally say enough - leave it out - to keep him out of restraints. Any spare vibes you may have would be greatly appreciated...
