Nigel needs your good wishes....

Nigel is a little white JRT. He lives with a friend and is Baily's buddy. He's almost 14 years old and in declining health. His mom called me this morning to let me know he might be going to the Bridge today.

Any good send off wishes you can spare would be great . Thanks.

Crying Oh no. I'm so sorry to read this and hope if this is Nigel's day to cross to the Bridge he has a peaceful passing. Hugs and comfort vibes for your friend and for you guys.

I'd hope the vet may have another answer, but if not, then a most peaceful trip over the Bridge

Thank you Ladies. It's been a long road with Nigel. He has some sort of intestinal lymphoma and his vets have been great about trying to help him. This isn't something he's going to recover from. it's just not fair to ask him to keep going....

Isn't it amazing (and wonderful) how we all get so attached to other people's animals? Even on here we get so we feel one another's pain and grow to love these dogs we only know "virtually".

Is Negl's Mom acquainted with "Rainbow Bridge" (I'm sure if she wasn't she is thru you now). But do let her know that there is always an assemblage of dogs from Dog.com who know you and Bailey and thru you, Nigel.

Lookout all you couch pups at the Bridge. A JRT named Nigel is going to rock your world and leave no trail unexplored. Many hugs, Mindy. I know it's not logical but when a dog of a breed I heart is lost, it's somehow more painful. Tell Nigel's owner that someday, hopefully many years from now, Twister will be along to keep Nigel company as he trails all those wonderful smells.
