Prayers for my nephew and family in Japan

and of course all of Japan. Jon is evacuating with his young family from Tokyo to Osaka, where he will decide whether to go on to Korea or not. It may be a few days before we hear from him again. His Mom (my sis) is a wreck...

Jon is an American teacher over there.

Prayers to your nephew and family as well as all the other families that are struggling right now. We have a co-worker whose Son and Wife live in Japan. I spoke with her yesterday and they were not immediatly effected by the earthquake or tsunami but who knows what is going to come of all this Nuclear reactor stuff.

I'll keep your nephew and his family in my thoughts and prayers. I'm sure I would be a wreck too if I had family there. As it is, I can't stop thinking about how frightened and traumatized the people of Japan are right now. May they find the strength to get through this nightmare.

Marty, sending good vibes to your nephew and his family. I hope that they continue to be safe and well. I can't imagine what people are experiencing there, nor can I imagine having a loved one there and not being certain they are okay. The news coverage is really upsetting to watch, yet I feel compelled to stay up to date with it all. So much loss . . . it's unfathomable.
