Callie needs our prayers

Food has been weird all week -- some things are good some things are ... not.  And it has NOTHING to do with what I like -- it has to do with "smell".

It's  11:30 and they've changed the dressing on the 'blister' and it's all changed AGAIN.  Now it's back to being a raised blister but a whole different SHAPE (long oval shaped) but with tendrils **that are blisters** radiating out to the various directions of the inflamed/celllulitis type tissue.

BUT DRAINING stil!!!!  Weeping really fast -- just tooo weird for words.

Can we do a 'cheer' -- to get my body to push out all this gunk???  Paige sent me an email and said "Push it out push it out push it waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay OUT!!!!"

I just want RID of this crud in me.  But I'm so happy my body's doing something -- prayer?  good thots?  whatever you're comfy with.

Can I ask a favor?  Could somebuddy please go find the I-Dog candle page??  (dang - I've got it bookmarked at home but not on the netbook).

And I so appreciate EVERYONE's support -- even some of you who don't normally come on -- it must be painful for you and I SO appreciate your support!!  **GROUP HUG**

So glad to be reading updates from you, Callie! I've been thinking of you! Sorry to hear your stay has been extended, but I'm sure if you keep getting the male nurses, you won't mind a bit. Wink

I keep thinking of you! ((hugs))

Gonna post this here for those checking this thread:

The more I tried to 'look' for a SNF that looked SAFE (i.e., clean and with adequate medical staffing THAT MY INSURANCE COVERED) the less I found and the more frightened I got to be honest and suddenly this other pair of "options" just sort of materialized.
