For my MIL...

Due to a "lost" forum, I couldn't ask this last night, but she could use your prayers and recovery vibes. She underwent emergency surgery last night for a ruptured disc. That is scarey at any age, but she is 89...

All I know now is that she came through it...am still waiting to hear how well she came through it and what the prognosis might be.

I hope your MIL's recovery is as rapid and smooth as possible. Back surgery is rough at any age, but at 89, there's obviously a lot more risk. Hopefully her prognosis is good and she's able to rally back to feeling herself very soon.
