I know nothing about horses (I love them and could easily have been "horse-mad" as a kid but I'm horrifically allergic to them) -- but e-coli is 'fed' by grain so in a horse that has to be extremely scarey.  C'mon little girl -- try hard -- we're praying for you, sweet girl!

Oh, what a sweet little girl!  Sending strong vibes her way . . . I hope she can fight the infection and soon be strong and healthy.

 She is so cute; sending healing vibes her way. She's so small but I hope she's strong enough to get over this.

Thanks you guys. She's a bit better today but not out of the woods. The vet is continuing to give her antibiotics and pain meds. What she really needs is to drink lots and lots of mama's milk. Things look more hopeful than they did yesterday though and I'm sure the good thoughts and prayers have helped. I showed the owner the thread and she said was deeply touched. She's in the Netherlands, so it's nice to show how far and wide support can be.

How is Artistoc Touch doing?

Thanks for asking Callie. She had her last shot of antibiotics yesterday and seems to be doing much better. The vet basically said from here on, she'll have to fight it on her own and it appears she's doing just that. There were a lot of people praying their hearts out for her and I trust that made all the difference.
