Prayers/good thoughts for my Maltese

Hi, Callie suggested that I post here. My 11 year old Maltese, Chloe, was diagnosed last month with IMHA and she also has liver disease. She was hospitalized for a weekend but then appeared to stabilize and begin to recover. This Saturday she relapsed and was hospitalized again because she needed a blood transfusion. This has been so hard, especially financially, but I love her so much that I want to do as much as I can to help her survive.

I'm exhausted, scared, and sad but I would like to ask first and foremost that good thoughts, prayers, and/or encouragement be sent to my little girl to hang in there and get better.

We are all pulling for Chloe! I'm sure Callie has told you, but be sure to print out all her well wishes and read them to her. When Pirate was sick he loved his "emails".

Chloe girl, ever-buddy wants you to get better!! This is "Aunt Callie" -- and yep, I'm the lady that tells your Mom to stick food in your mouth and give you ALLLLLLLLL that milk thistle!! Chloe -- Billy's been sick like you and he got ALL better!! Tonight when I get home I bet Billy, Luna and Tink will all do emails for you so Mom can read them to you.

pssst -- Chloe -- here's a secret. When I was a little girl (back in the dark ages) MY Mom used to call ME "Chloe". Yep, she did!!!

You GO girl!! right this very minute Aunt Callie is lifting you up!

Thank you so much to everyone for your kind words and support - it brought me to tears. I will read over everyone's posts to Chloe before I try to get some much needed sleep soon. I am cautiously optimistic about her recovery.
