it may require hefty antibiotics. Can't you ask them to JUST do heavy antibiotics
It's funny you mention this cause I was just thinking about the dosage they gave me to give her! They gave me amoxycillin (sp?) to use at a dosage of 125mg twice daily. The recommended dosage for this antibiotc is 5-12mg per pound! This would mean Tessy isn't even getting the min dose!!
What I said about it being a 'systemic infection' is straight from the Billy files -- like I said, this is where I turned to homeopathy because even AFTER he was off the big drugs he kept getting worse and worse infections -- deeper and bigger one after another.
I know you are out there in God's country ... Dr. Chambreau will work with you via email ... she is the lady that taught ALL the vets homeopathy -- Dr. Demers, Dr. Dodds, Dr. DiNatale -- and most of everyone else in the US. She does "classical" homeopathy but that's not bad. In lieu of having a Dr. Demers in your back pocket she might be darned affordable and darned good for you.
Her Healthy Animals website
You can tell her I referred you. She's REALLY serious about wanting the whole health profile filled out BEFORE she will consult with you. She won't chase you -- so if she gives you a list of stuff she "wants" you gotta get it to her. I referred another lady to her and she was too much the ditz to take Dr. C seriously and she wondered why Dr. C never "got back to her". As classicla homeopaths go there are none better.
