Tate's getting spoiled tonight - he leaves for the Bridge tomorrow. Crying

My heart breaks for you, your BFF and Tate.  He had a good long life, yes?  Always surrounded by love, I'm sure.  Its always hard, but especially hard if this is a pet from a young age.  I pray for your friend to have strength and courage.  I pray that Tate has a peaceful transition.

Yea Tate has had a long, well-loved life.  He's 13 - he's been with my friend since she was 12 and he was a puppy.  She's grown up with him and he's been there for the birth of her two children (the youngest is about 8 weeks!), her marriage, her graduation from college, a move from IN to MO, all the big events.  Tate was even a therapy dog (in a reading program for kids and in a nursing home) for the last 2 years or so.

I just got off the phone with her - I told her that all the idog members are lifting her up and she appreciates all the good thoughts, even though you're all strangers to her.

I'm sorry I didn't see this earlier and even more sad to hear the latest news. Huge hugs and be strong vibes to your friend. I know how difficult this decision is. She's lucky to have you for a friend.

Keeping Tate and his humans in my thoughts today and praying for a peaceful crossing. Tate, there are many, many new friends waiting for you at the Bridge. Your humans love you and will miss you dearly.

Erin, I'm so sorry for your friend. Broken Heart  I know how hard it is to make the decision and I also know how a friend can help us get through these times of heartbreak.  Sending peaceful passage vibes for Tate.   Comfort vibes for your friend and hugs for all who love Tate.

Tate:  I'm glad you got to spend so many years with your humans and got to celebrate and share in some of the biggest events in their lives.  Have a peaceful crossing and know that you will be loved for many, many years to come.

Tate your job here is done....you have raised your human girl and got her thru all the important steps in life.  You can now let her go and you can rest peacefully in the beautiful meadows by the peaceful streams over the bridge.   You filled her life with love and purpose, we will help give her strength to cope with your crossing over.  There will be many that have gone before you that will be waiting to show you the way, our love goes with you.

Run free Tate!  I'm so sorry for your friend, Erin.  Please pass on my condolences to her.  It sounds like he had a very rich life filled with love.  What more can a being ask for?
