HAY TALUS -- s'me Billy the Venturin english cocker spanYELL!!!
Shaved spots are just so folks go "awwwwwwwwwwwww".
Now -- you gots ta teech yur MOm about all the GUD stuff you can get pills in!! (Yah - I am SOOOOO serry-us!!)
Yogurt -- (my favrit!! yum)
riccotta cheeze -- it's slippy but Mom sez "lo fat".
liverwurst -- now this truly rocks, big guy!! Tell Mom ta gets it in the deli-place. Mom sez tell yur Mom ta gets a "good brand" -- but it's mooshy -- so yur Mom kin cut a liddle piece and mush a pill into it.
THEN (oh Tally=Mon is SOOO rocks!!!)
you gets ta learn 2 new "tricks" (Mom calls em "commands" -- but *I* know a trick when I see 1)
Mom takes a piece of steak ... or sumthin like that ... and holds onto one end of it while she sez "Chew GOOD" -- so you gets ta nibble on it while she holds it. Yep -- this is SO kewel -- cos then when she gives ya stuff an sez "Chew GOOD Talus" -- and you munch munch wif yore teef -- it's YUM and Mom sez "GOOD BOY".
But ya no when she sez "chew it GOOD" that it's yummy -- like DUH!! it's ALWAYS yum!!
But some messinines are bitter yucky. So ... then Mom has 'nother command.
"Just swallo" -- that means don't bite into it cos the outside is YUM and the inside is YUCK.
Yea -- this is nother of those humans things -- we dogs are pretty sharp -- and you only show/tell ME once that YUCK IT"S DISGUSTING but if the outside is slippey nuff AND it tastes good I can just swaller it fast, Mom's thrilled and SUMTIMEZ I get an extra piece of whatever is yummy on the outside.
Like -- messinines. Mom 'll put a pill in a liddle ricotta cheese or liverwurst and GULP -- (she sez "Just swaller Billy";). So preddy soon it's a no-brainer that when that messinine box thingamy comes out YOU are gonna get yummy stuff!!
Sometimes she puts stuff like yogurt or baby food meats on a spoon -- and pushes the pill inta that. She turns the spoon over and SLURP -- down it goes. I know it's yumm on the outside and duh ... I trust Mom to make sure I no when it's yucky inside so heck yeah -- I'm happy wtih the yummy outside stuff!!
Messinines DO make ya feel better -- but heckfire man -- we might as well get the yummy stuff 2 -- no what I mean????
Get bedder mate!!! An tell Mom not ta furgit ta bring the treats when you go to the horsepistal place -- where ever yur vet is -- vets LOVE to give dogs treats and when ya gotta go get stuck and poked and prodded -- well heck -- we might as well get yummy stuff there too!!
