Jackie's husband Charlie

Jackie, I'm thinking of you and Charles constantly.  Continued positive thoughts and prayers streaming to you non-stop.  Thank you for updating us.  You and your family will get back to your normal routine; in the meantime...don't forget to take the time to take care of YOU.  I know how stressful this is and it will be very important for your family for you to try to decompress, try to relax when you are able.  I'm tired this morning, I hope that made sense.

I wish there was more I could do.  If there is anything, let me know.  Until then, sending love, hugs and strength to you, my friend.

Puppies, daddy will be home soon...be good babies for mama.

    His prounouncement: STELLAR!!!

We've all heard that trite expression about living every day like it's your last.  Do it.  Don't put off that trip even if it means eating beans and rice for a month.  Don't let old angers and hurts keep you from someone you care about.  Don't wait till you are in my position of wondering if you will ever have a chance to spend another weekend walking the beach with the person you love most in the world.

Beautiful and so very true.  I said something similar to this to DH when I told him what was going on.

Rex, Belle I bet you are glad to be home and clearly happy to see your mom - you'll be real excited to see your dad when he comes home but just be a little reserved LOL Twister you hussy, just kidding.  You snuggle up with your mom real good, OK?

We'll be sending our best all day everyday Jackie and Charles, count on it

I am home - snowbound once again.  Just wanted to pop in and see if there was a Mr. Jackie update. I am so happy and relieved he seems to be doing so well.  Jackie Girl - you know I'm thinking of you constantly - try and take care of yourself as well as Mr. Jackie.  I'm just a phone call away if you need ANYTHING !

     Yay!  Such fantastic news!

Jackie, don't think even for a second that anyone here is gonna stop the prayers/good thoughts/vibes.  We all care about you (and Mr. Jackie!) way too much.

OMG....I can't believe what I miss when I'm away!  My heart was in my throat several times while I was reading this thread.

I'm so happy he's doing better Jackie.  The hospital he's in sounds like a great one and that's gotta be a relief for you and Charlie.   I'm so glad he's showing positive improvement!  YAY for the idog prayers and vibes.

My candles are lit and the prayers are coming yours and Charlies way.

Take care of yourself Jackie and get rest.  I'll be keeping you both in my thoughts and prayers.

    Whew!  What a great update!

Jackie, you are in our thots and prayers.  You and Charlie of course.  There is simply no getting around that, no forgetting that they are needed.  Wierd as it is, we are family here and when one of us needs something, we're there for them.  We feel each others pain and all, in our own way, do what we can.

PLEASE take care of yourself too.  It's so hard to do, I know at a time like this, but Charles is going to need you even more when he's able to come home, and you can't beat yourself to heck with too little rest and too little food or surviving on junk food.  So, please, take some time to take care of yourself while you're taking care of everyone else.

Let us know if you need anything special.  (((((hugs)))))

I'm thrilled to read this update - continued good thoughts and healing vibes coming across the pond for both of you.  It sounds like he is in the best hands.

Jackie - I was thinking as I was driving here that I hoped there was some more good news and was elated to see that there was. Stellar? That's one big, positive word to hear a dr. say. I'm sure they lean towards being conservative and cautious most of the time, so that must've been really uplifting. I know that there are some concerns about complications in the weeks ahead but it sounds like he's in the very best possible place to watched over, so take some comfort in that. As others said, try to take time for yourself when you can. I hope today goes as well or even better for Charles. I'll continue to pray for a smooth recovery for him.

Got here as soon as I could to check on Charlie!  Jackie what great news!  I must say when I read Callie's note I was grinning and tearing at the same time.  Then I read your note and I am trying so hard not to cry out loud here at the office, happy tears of course.  I have been in your position with my sweet hubby before, it was 12 years ago next month when I thought I was going to loose him.   The meaning of life changes so quickly in those precious moments.  You are so right about that, never put off saying how much you care and love, dont put off til tomorrow thinking you have plenty of time.  Jackie one thing I did find out the hard way is, I was so concerned about my hubby that I forgot to take care of me and my health suffered some.  Take you vitimins...Big Smile get some sleep, hot baths w/soothing essential oils and soft music can do a world of good.

The furr babies know something is up, we had our Rottie, Bear, at the time and he was unbelievably in tune to my hubby's needs and schedule once we were home from the hospital.  This 150lb bull in a china closet became as gentle and quiet as a little lamb.  They will be ok until you get hubbie home and then they will know that Daddy needs special care for a short time and they will readjust again.

My prayers and strongest vibes are with you and Charlie.  As strong as you and your love is; it now will be stronger.

So glad everything is positive.  We are thinking about you and continue the prayers!
