Jackie:  I'm just seeing this post now.  I'm so glad Charlie made it through the surgery.  I will be thinking of you and Charlie all day and am sending my best wishes for Charlie's speedy recovery.  I'm here if you need ANYTHING.

She left me a voicemail at about 8:15 this morning EST. (because I couldn't get to my purse and INTO it fast enough *sigh*)

She reiterated what she said above except she also said he's very lucid, knows exactly what's going on, and can wiggle all his fingers and toes (which, if I'm not mistaken, is HUGE).

I told my best friend last night on the phone - the support here is HUGE.   It can and *does* make such an enormous difference.  Both Amanda and I have her address and honestly I'd encourage anyone who can to please send a card.  This kind of encouragement is unbelievably helpful.  I got enough cards last night to last for a few days *smile* -- and I think I'll leave a few laying around wif postage on 'em JUST IN CASE paw prints want to make their way inside a couple!!

I have her address also, if anyone needs it.

I somehow missed this on here but saw on FB, so glad to hear that he's made it this far and continued thoughts and vibes for a good recovery coming.

I rushed here first thing when I got to my computer this morning.  I am sooo glad to hear he came through the surgery.  You guys are still in my prayers and of course, sending out healing vibes as he continues to recover.

Jackie, please do let us know if there's anything any of us can do.  We're here for you!

Jackie, I am so happy to hear that he's doing well so far.  Him being able to move his fingers & toes is HUGE!!! 

We are still sending good thoughts & prayers for a speedy, uneventful recovery.  If there's anything that I can do to help, feel free to let me know.

Oh my, I am just seeing this!  Jackie I am so glad that Charlie is doing well after surgery.  You have our stongest vibes and prayers.  Be sure to take care of yourself, having a loved one in the hospital is stressful but you really need to make sure to eat well, sleep well, so you can stay strong.

but he opened his eyes, he knew me, he knew his sister and is very coherent.  He's not out of the woods but this was a first major hurdle and he came thru great. 

 OH, Thank you God!  Considering the nature of this, that is a great thing!

That in the midst of this you're able to come here and post is incredible.  It's selfish of us to ask you to keep us posted, but you are dear to our community and we thank you for allowing us to share the burden and send you our prayers and well-wishes.

My heart and thoughts continue to be filled with strong prayers for his recovery and your emotional peace as this progresses and he recovers.  Much love.

 Jackie, I lurk more now than post too busy at work. I just heard about your ordeal. I will keep you and your husband in my thoughts. I have a friend who had a triple brain anuerysm this past Oct. She was running agility last weekend. Keep that in your thoughts too. I will try to check back for updates.

Dearest Jackie, I can only repeat what Paige said.  You & Charles are in my heart & prayers.  I know I'm thousands of miles away but if I can do ANYthing, let me know.

Jackie, you are very dear to me and everyone here.  And, I understand your concerns, all of them.  Stay strong and positive.  I am so releived to hear that he made it through the surgery and that he is lucid and wiggly.
