I want to THANK all of you for your incredibly kind words of support ! Really it means a great deal. There are times when life has more chaos then common since and all you can do is buckle up for the ride.
Callie is not simply an amazing dog person but sincerely a great heart and I am amazed at her. I have local "friends" of two plus decades that have less understanding than a cyber pal of a year.
It's early here we have the early bands of Gus rolling in .... The thunder and lightening are amazing! I know it is weird but I am glad Jasmine is not here to stress over the weather. Storms like this play havoc with the dog's ears , the barometric pressure really swings wildly!
The rest of the kids will grump about having to go out in the wet and having to wait for breaks but they will all be fine. I brought the cats in to my closet...sigh just what I need 5 cats and a litter box in with my clothes but the Kits are just too young to be out in this kind of winds.
The grandkids will be distractable I taught them during Katrina that God send's winds like this to let the trees dance . We had 50 foot pines and 40 foot oaks that were touching tops to ground and whipping wildly . After the storm passed they were still unafraid and went out with me to drag limbs to the roadside. Kids should never have to cower because Nature is not a controlled thing.
Let's all hope Gulfport and Biloxi manage better than with Kat, there were places leveled that we used to play, show and gamble. Oddly the thing that Ticked me off the most post Kat were the Idiots who put up signs or called into papers and radio stations saying the storm was God's way of ridding us of the casinos and sin... sheesh !
Anyway , Thank you ALL again for the kindness , it may have been a Random Act that we all hear about but it definetly made a very rough patch easier to deal with !
Big Hugs
