All tests have come back negative so far, so it looks like the furkids get their wish that daddy will soon be home playing frisbee and taking walks.  Thanks for the idog vibes!!!!  They did the trick this time. [:)]

Oh, I'm so happy for you guys, Anne.  Tell SO to get some rest!

my neighbor went thru the transplant last year -- we never knew if he was going to get one soon enough or not -- and of course he's on immune-suppressants pretty much forever.

He may resist this but truly -- integrated medicine can be such a big help (acupuncture, herbals, etc.) -- man, I've seen milk thistle do SO much both for Foxy and Billy and other humans.

Good luck -- I just missed this, Anne -- I will be lifting you guys up for sure!

I'm coming to this thread really late, Anne.  I'm glad things are looking up for you and SO.  Good  thoughts, healing wishes and prayers coming for both of you.

Thanks, everyone.  Blood tests from his f/u visit are stable and improving.  So, we are grateful.  Unfortunately, I notice that the anesthesia took its toll - he is having even more memory problems, but is managing with help of a notebook and my reasonably scattered brain.  The doc wrote a prescription for a scooter for him, as he has made a decision not to drive any more - he just feels too weak much of the time, and gets dizzy now and then, so we'll be giving his truck to #2 son, I think.  He'll be able to get downtown on his own, and he's ok with that, because he's used to me driving anyway (I've got the A/C that works!)

Oh wow--you've had a LOT on your plate. I'm so sorry to read this. I have noticed you've been absent and I figured maybe you were vacationing, planting, etc., and then I saw this.

I'm sorry and I'm glad for you at the same time! [:)] We'll still send prayers and good thoughts for you.
