Well, the nephrologist didn't think anything at all of the cyst, said if there wasn't a solid in it it wasn't considered "complex". However, my bp was up (140/90) and that's actually why he thought I was there! That's high for me, usually I'm 120/80 or lower, but have crept into the 130's over mid 80's since having preclampsia twice, so he told me to cut the salt, exercise and lose weight. I promise I'll be good now!!!!

Oh yea, I stopped by the hospital to get the "films"of the CT and got a CD instead, which the specialist didn't even think he needed to see, so now I've got a CD of my guts and innards, except I can't tell what's what! But I'm pretty sure I see a few good designs in their for our jack-o-lanterns next Halloween!!

Just being at the doctor can make your BP go up. Lessening caffeine can be a biggie -- bigger than most anything really. Good luck! and I'm SO glad it was good news!

My blood pressure always goes up when I'm at the doctor but drops afterwards. I'm so glad the cyst isn't anything to worry about. [

Wow, what a relief for you! I'll bet your BP drops a bit just having that worry behind you! As for the CD of your "guts," that sounds kind of weird -- you could pull it out to show guests and visitors that are outstaying their welcome (a twist on the old vacation slides)! I've never seen anything other than Xrays of myself, so I don't know how I'd react to seeing that! [

Nephrologist said unless I start having pain or other symptoms or more frequent UTI's that he'd just see me back in a year and they'd probably do an ultrasound then to check it. Thank you all so much for all the positive vibes! And I kept thinking of Ixas girl's little good juju drawing while I was waiting for the dr.!
