• dyan Posted : 5/8/2007 11:41:17 AM Thank you Lisa! He went to his first therapy this morning.. has to go twice a week for 6 weeks. I was suprised when he got home we took Bubblegum for a walk,,,I was sure he would say he was too tired from therapy. I'm thinking they told him walking will help him. I didn't ask him though...didn't want to "force" him to lie...lol!!!   You know...just incase he really doesn't want to go,,he doesn't want to hear me saying  "you know what they said!!!!!!!!!!!!!"  But they said his back is really really stiff, especially on the said they took the bone out for the graft.     Now he goes back to the doctor about his feet on Friday... its still a sore big toe that is swelled.  So we'll see what she says! 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available. They taught him exercises to help loosen his back and it really helped. • dyan Posted : 5/8/2007 8:46:48 PM Thanks Janice. I am happy that he is going,,,,he is really stiff and kind of nervous about doing things...so now he HAS TO!!  LOL! Janice,,I must tell you though, that DH went to therapy before his surgery,,,,when he was still trying to avoid surgery...but it made him worse.   It was half way thru the sessions that the girl told him he should ask for a cat scan. • dyan Posted : 5/12/2007 9:35:50 PM DH went back to the doctor that he went to for his swollen red feet.  HHHmmm!  Things are better thats for sure. It came down to the swelling and redness seem to be gone except for his one big toe,,,which seem to be hurting a lot on and off. Do you believe,,,Dr said it might be a bunioun  (why doesn't that spelling look right????)   I can't believe THAT is what its come down to...although I'm quite happy that it doesn't seem to be worse...after all the worry!  Hopefully,,,it doesn't get worse and up being something more. So now he is going to therapy twice a week,,,which is making him REALLY stiff and sore....and the feet problem seem to be gone.  Dr. is keeping him on a water pill/blood pressure pill for a while. Things are looking up pretty much.
