Thank you friends!
If you or your family have any special pets who've already gone to the Bridge, no doubt they will be clamoring to get into his lap now.
Funny you said that. At work we have two stray cats that we have been taking care of since early fall. We are trying to find homes, for them but one tested leukemia
ositive, so she was kept in isolation. We were hoping to find someone without cats that might take care of her..she seemed healthy and was declawed and was well taken care of when found. I always felt so sorry for her because she was in isolation,,its a place where we all keep our personal things such as purses and between all of us we are back there a lot...and we all stop and talk to her and pet her. One vet tech was hoping to take her home when her and her boyfriend find a place to move in together. The kitty started showing signs of sickness last week and on Wed when I got to work she had not eaten, she pee'd on her towel instead of using her litter box, and when I got down to pet and talk to her,,she did not purr at all. They found her to need a transfusion and since she is showing signs of illness from her disease they decided that they could not try to rehome her if they "made her better" for a few months and they put her down that day,,she seemed to get worse and worse as the day went on. That night while at my sisters, I said to her "hey, if you talk to Jerry tonight, would you please make sure he is taking care of my kitty that I loved at work!" I do believe he is doing JUST that.
