Thank you dog friends.....and here is the picture of Jerry and Briana.
He always had a sparkle in his eye,,,and a smile on his face. He was the kindest, nicest man I know.

Dyan, we are very sorry for your family's loss.  He certainly had a kind eye - must have been a sweetheart.  <<>>

Yes Dyan, he does look like a kind and sweet man.  I'm sorry that your family is having to deal with this loss.  Hugs to all of you.

Dyan, that's a very sweet picture -- so hard to believe it was only a few weeks ago at Thanksgiving.  I'm so glad he had sweet little Briana to cuddle with.  If you or your family have any special pets who've already gone to the Bridge, no doubt they will be clamoring to get into his lap now.  And if you don't have any pets there, the other animals will know where to find him -- they'll pick up on his kind and gentle nature right away.

Funny you said that. At work we have two stray cats that we have been taking care of since early fall.  We are trying to find homes, for them but one tested  leukemia  ;positive, so she was kept in isolation. We were hoping to find someone without cats that might take care of her..she seemed healthy and was declawed and  was well taken care of when found. I always felt so  sorry for her because she was in isolation,,its a place where we all keep our personal things such as purses and between all of us we are back there a lot...and we all stop and talk to her and pet her.  One vet tech was hoping to take her home when her and her boyfriend find a place to move in together. The kitty started showing signs of sickness last week and on Wed when I got to work she had not eaten, she pee'd on her towel instead of using her litter box, and when I got down to pet and talk to her,,she did not purr at all.  They found her to need a transfusion and since she is showing signs of illness from her disease they decided that they could not try to rehome her if they "made her better" for a few months and they put her down that day,,she seemed to get worse and worse as the day went on. That night while at my sisters, I said to her "hey, if you talk to Jerry tonight, would you please make sure he is taking care of my kitty that I loved at work!"  I do believe he is doing JUST that.

Oh Dyan, what a lovely looking man, you can feel the warmth off of his face. Sometimes when we look at people we can feel how they really are and I sure got some nice fuzzy feelings when looking at Jerry's face. All I can say is that he sure is someone I would have liked to cross paths with.
I pray that your family is coping okay. It seems to be twice as hard when we have encountered someone so special and they have left a big mark in our lives. Candles continue to burn brightly in honor of Jerry.
    (((hugs)))

Dyan that is a sweet photo! Thank you for sharing that with us.  He looks like such a gentle & kind man... I'm hoping he and the kitty are keeping each other company.  I'm sure your sis loves that pic.  Keeping you all in my prayers.

I will keep hubby and you both in prayers as well. My prayer list is getting longer all the time. But that's o.k. Anything to help..Take care..
