May 29 2014 UPDATE!!! My friend's grandson is doing much better. Still has a way to go but is doing quite well considering.
I wanted to share with you a special visit he had, he was so excited and this article was put in the paper. His name is Corie

I am so happy he's doing so much better! What a nice thing for Lady Gaga to do for these kids. :)
