I posted in NDR but wanted to update here. The path report came back and it is hemangiosarcoma and somehow they know it's already spread. We just don't know where. It was what I feared most but it didn't surprise me. We chose to bring her home and love her as much as humanly possible. She's still weak from the surgery and blood loss and her body hadn't rebounded fully, so she's at risk of tipping in the wrong direction. Still, I know she's happy to be home and eating again, so that's a positive. We may not have long with her but every minute of every hour is precious time that I didn't want to waste. As strange as it may sound, I feel really blessed to have even this short time with her and I know my husband feels the same.

((( Cathy))) I'm so sorry it's hemangio. Bringing her home was the best thing for her. She will be much happier being with you than at the hospital going through more tests. I'll keep praying for her and you and your husband.

I am sorry to hear the new.This is what our Rogue had,after surgery we got 5 wonderful months For him as well as us. I pray you guys have an extended amount of time with Her and it's smooth and painless as we experienced. I may not of ever met in person,but I am sending you a Ton of. Love and hugs. .

We're all crossing fingers and paws here that her last days are filled with love and joy, and that she is spared from any fear and pain. Sucks to have to say good bye to a well loved dog, but we all know how that feels and are lifting you up in prayer. <<>>
