That is wonderful. I'm sure the 5-day wait cuts down on litigation later, but it always boggles my mind that adoption is so rarely done these days. There is SO much pressure on a young woman to "keep her baby" like she's sub-human if she doesn't. It's just plain wrong. I applauded the movie "Juno" when it came out for that very reason. This young mother should be commended for being so unselfish. Congratulations and best wishes to your friends!!
