We're sending our prayers, Annie. My husband was 17 when his mom died of lung cancer also. We are very, very sorry.

Jano, yes & we'll be heading up there next week. They're not having anything formal for SIL so I'm looking at this as a family rally around the kids & BIL. I'm sorry that I'm not more talkative about this, I'm still trying to process it all. Thanks EVERYONE for your supportive words & PPPs for my BIL & his kids. They're the ones who really need it. They were the ones who had to live this nightmare 24/7. DH & I were able to not think about it from time to time.

I'm sorry to hear this. I know you probably have a lot of mixed emotions. Going through a long term illness is rough on everyone. Best wishes to you, your brother and all your family

Continuing PPPs for BIL & kids. It will be comforting to them to have family around for support.
