    Why just his stuff??

Ok, so my dogs have this thing.  Both my beagle mix and my papillon do it.  They only destroy my husbands things.  Never mine.  Whether it's a shoe being chewed up, or the other day it was peeing on his pants that were lying on the floor.(Yes, I know, my fault, it had been a little while since they were out.)  Now, I know what you are saying, just pick the stuff up, right?  But this is a man we are talking about.  Good luck.  Anyway, just wondering why they only pick out his things?  Is it by smell?  Are they trying to say something by it?  Do they not like him? Just curious if anyone had any intuitive thoughts.

Maybe he is just smellier, and so his things taste better? [:D]

Hmmm... Maybe because he is the only one that leaves stuff out?? [:D] Ha! I have a hubby like that. He'll spend all day nagging the kids to pick up their stuff - and leaave his laying around [:@]

Seriously, though. That is interesting. I was listening to the Bob & Tom radio show the other day, and the subject of dogs eating thong panties came up. A vet called in to say that of all the undergarments he and his partners have removed from dogs stomachs - NONE of them were men's! He didn't know if dogs were just more attracted to women's underwear or if men's briefs & boxers were just easier to pass. Makes ya wonder... [&:]

If your husband let you to handle the "dog situation" entirely by yourself thats the key, they have to see your husband also as leader so they realize that stuff they are chewing belong to him and not them
