Tonight will be Brianna's 4th training class. Last week I couldn't get her to look at me unless we were in motion. Then she was wonderful. But I couldn't get her to listen to me once we stopped moving, even if she was looking at me.
When we're off to the side working on whatever, she's either standing or sitting next to me looking outward. Even when I got in front of her, she would just move so she could see the rest of the class. She was very calmly just watching everything else. Yummy stinky treats and toys meant nothing to her.
I've been working on her in the front yard multiple times a day for the past week and am slowly making progress. 1 out of 4 tries I'll get a 'watch' or a 'sit' from her.
Anyone have any ideas as to what else I can do? I really am dreading walking into that class again tonight and having my dog just ignore me.
