question about marking

• question about marking jenns Posted : 6/30/2008 5:30:14 PM Is it possible for male dogs to mark without lifting their leg?  The reason I ask is everytime I take Zack to a new place, like a pet store or the vet, he squats and pees near the nearest object.  He is also doing it in my house.  He marks on everything outside, but lifts his leg there.  Is it possible he is marking inside but for whatever reason will only lift his leg outside? • micksmom Posted : 6/30/2008 8:22:19 PM Yep.  Long before he started lifting his leg, my dea old Mick followed our friend's male Golden around, and everytime Rocky marked something, Mick squatted and "peed" over it.  Never had a problem inside with Mick tho.  Now, Caleb- "talented" fellow he is- marked while heeling in class.  Yep- beautiful attention, strutting along right next to me, and leaving a slight trail of pee behind.    Needless to say, he got snipped sooner than I was planning. 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available.
