I can't find my thread where I asked about the gun shot test. We did it last Friday and all the dogs were fine. We walked them around a small field, not really requiring any obedience, but just moving around. The guy with the guns started far away with a softer gun. None of the dogs cared so he slowly moved closer and closer and used a much louder gun. At the end we all walked circles around him with the dogs within 10 feet of him while he was firing the loud gun. Kenya did not flinch or seem to care at all. I had a bunch of good treats and she gave me this look like "wow I'm getting these treats for nothing!" since we weren't doing anything but pace around. I don't think she realized that gun shots are supposed to be scary, lol. Afterwards, we played little games with our dogs to reinforce it as a positive experience. So, between the gun shot training, all of the insanely loud and random "city" noises around our house, and the noise elements on the various CGC tests, I guess she couldn't care less about loud noises.
