So typically when DH and I walk the dogs its either late at night or early morning around our neighborhood or at the park. Since it's been cold and snowy lately no one has been walking at the park and on the trails. Today was different, it was a gorgeous day and DH and I decided to walk them at the park. I knew people would be out there but there was alot of people!! Teddi barked at people, and when we would pass a dog he would bark and try to lunge. He's not aggressive, nor does he want to fight them. Actually one lady let Teddi sniff her dogs and he sniffed and we moved on and he was fine. Is he just fearful? He's getting neutered on Wed., will this help with his problem. DH usually walks him, and I would love to walk him, but its hard right now. He also seems to forget all his commands that we practice, like he won't even listen to us when people or other dogs are around. In our last obedience class the instructor figured he was acting out of fear, but I'm having a hard time working that fear out of him. I actually emailed her earlier this evening asking her how much she charges to do home visits for training but I'm hoping to find some answers on here too.
Thanks
