POOP behavior at the Park!!

Our dog has been doing to weirdist thing in the past year.... when we go to the dog park it is like she is on a poop-a-thon. She proceedes to poop almost the entire time. I know a few presents are common, but she is trying to go, even when there is nothing left (maybe some water). She only does this at the dog park only, not when we go anywhere else like a field or other non-dog parks. We noticed this behavior began when we got our second dog...its kind of embarrasing, but I am just wondering what her deal is....any insight??

While it's not as common as urine-marking, some dogs will mark with ***. Or try to. Smile It's possible that's what your girl is doing. With all the smells at the dog park of different dogs, perhaps she's just trying to claim the place.

Does she get along with your other dog and the dogs at the park? If so, I probably wouldn't be concerned. She gets cleaned out real good. Smile

She might just be over excited as well. A lot of dogs, including my own, get runny poop and poo a lot at the dog park. All of that exercise and excitement loosens things up :)

one of DH's buddies is a canine cop - he explained that it is to do with smells and it gets their adrenaline going and that moves things through Surprise

I've noticed my girl goes when she has ran a lot ro gets excited at a new place. I guess the blood flow and adrenaline allows her to relax and go!
