puppy barking

• puppy barking bo du Posted : 12/7/2006 2:39:05 PM hi, i have a 3 month old cavalier king charles female, shes pretty gentle. but whenever someone (a person) lay on the floor in the dog pose, the puppy will start barking at him/her. that happened to me and my friend, i guess we were pretending to be dogs and she started barking at us. im wondernig if my puppy will have problems dealing with larger animals?   she had interacted with a bigger cat before and she wasnt aggressive at all. She is probably barking because she is excited. • jones Posted : 12/7/2006 4:56:20 PM Dogs, even puppies, know that humans are something different from dogs. Your dog may be excited or possibly even a little frightened if she doesn't understand what you're doing... not exactly sure what you mean by the "dog pose." If you don't like your dog barking at you in that way you can just withdraw attention from her until she's quiet and then praise her for being quiet.
